CurlyHair: Website and Online Shop
Salon expertise, booking and shopping in one website.
We designed and developed CurlyHair for Emelie Fredriksson, connecting her salon business with an integrated online shop. The website brings together client guidance, appointment booking, before-and-after comparisons and haircare products, giving visitors clear routes to explore her work, book a service or shop.
curlyhair.se
The website needs to support several different intentions: a first-time visitor researching a specialist, an existing client returning to book, and a customer looking for suitable haircare products. Each journey needs clear information and an obvious next step while remaining part of the same business identity.
We organised the experience around booking, understanding the service and shopping. Dedicated new-client and returning-client pages provide relevant guidance before visitors enter the booking flow, interactive before-and-after imagery explains the work visually, and the shop gives products their own browsing and detail pages.
A website that connects salon information, visual examples, booking and ecommerce within one branded destination, with dedicated journeys for clients booking appointments and customers browsing the shop.
A personal service and an online shop, together
CurlyHair combines a personal service business with an online retail offering. Visitors can learn about Emelie’s approach, see hair transformations, prepare for an appointment and browse products within the same branded website.
Our work brought these different journeys together through website design, development and functional integrations. WordPress and Elementor provide the site foundation, WooCommerce supports the shop, and Timma is embedded into the booking experience.
A clearer route from enquiry to appointment
The website separates new and returning clients at the start of the booking journey. Dedicated pages provide preparation information and hair-length guidance before linking through to the embedded Timma booking service. This connects the business website to appointment scheduling while keeping relevant advice close to the decision to book.

Hair transformations, before and after
An interactive image slider lets visitors move between before-and-after photographs. It provides a direct visual comparison of the same transformation and makes the results section a feature visitors can interact with.
A product shop within the business website
The WooCommerce shop extends CurlyHair’s offering beyond salon services. Visitors can browse haircare by hair type, product category and brand, then explore individual products with descriptions, available options and pricing. Product pages also communicate stock status for selected variations.

More ways to connect with the business
Alongside haircare products, the shop includes a new-client gift card and a digital consultation offering. These give visitors additional ways to purchase from the business through the same shop structure. The consultation page explains the preparation process and provides questionnaire downloads.

Relevant guidance for returning visitors
A dedicated returning-client page provides hair-length guidance and preparation information with a route back into booking. Keeping this separate from the first-visit journey lets each page focus on the information relevant to that visitor.

Questions about a project like this
What would a business website with a shop cost?
It depends on the scope: the pages, the shop and its products, and any integrations such as booking. We confirm the price and delivery timeline after reviewing your requirements. For fixed-price projects above €500, we agree a 40% initial payment, payable upfront or when the design is completed, with 60% due after completion; your proposal confirms the payment schedule. Every website and store we build includes two months of post-launch support for minor changes, fixes and routine updates within the agreed scope. New features and larger additions are quoted separately, with hourly work from €10 per hour.
Can you add online booking to my website?
Yes. For CurlyHair we integrated the Timma booking service into the website and added separate pages for new and returning clients. Which booking tool suits you depends on your business, so we look at that on the scope call.
Can a business website also have an online shop?
Yes. CurlyHair combines a business website with a WooCommerce shop, so services and products live in one branded site. We scope the shop around your products, their options and how you fulfil orders.
How long does a website with a shop take?
We confirm the delivery timeline after reviewing your requirements.
